I love photography and my job as a photographer! I truly enjoy taking and editing photos, but the reason why I am a photographer extends beyond taking pictures.
I am a HUGE sentimental person and some of my favorite nostalgic items from my parents and grandparents are photographs. Growing up, one of my favorite things to do was look at photo albums. I would sit criss cross on the floor in front of my grandmothers oak hutch and drag allll the photo albums out from the bottom cabinet. My mom loved taking photos so we has a lot of different albums. Photo albums of my parents dating, as newlyweds, and albums for my sister and me. I can remember being fascinated that pointing a camera at something can freeze the moment. So much so that I asked for a camera for my 6th birthday. What kind of camera do you get a 6 year old?? Disposable, of course! I took pictures of EVERYTHING, and excitedly took the camera to our local drug store so they could send them out to get developed (remember those days!) Despite my phenomical photography skills as a 6 year old, most of the photos I took were of people's feet and of my pet frogs. As silly as that beginning is, it sparked something inside me to love photography.
I honestly never thought I could make a career out of photography, but, here I am, living my dream! I want you to have beautiful and emotion-filled images that you would be proud to share for years to come.
